| Error Code | Error Code Name | Description |

| 9 | Device did not respond. | No bytes received or no header received within time specified in Message Timeout. |
| 26 | Character timeout. | Header received, but not all of remaining response received. For example, a gap between received bytes exceeded Intra-Message Timeout. |
| 27 | Max transaction timeout. | The entire response – start to finish – was not received in time. |
| 151 | Invalid VCB slot. | Template file error; template asked for a register not available on this device. |
